First thing to suspect is the weatherseal around the door frame. With
time, these tend to shrink away from the metal they are pushed on to and
then allow into the car the water that is supposed to run down and stay
on the outside.
The fix is to get some windscreen sealant, the stuff that stays gooey,
remove the seal and put a bead around the inside where the metal pokes
into, and then reinstall making sure that it is pushed all the way into
the corners. You may end up with a small gap where the two ends meet.
