Ian,

There's no guarantee that I have one that will work, but if you are willing to pay for the round trip freight I can send you my collection of '80 -> '84 ignition keys to try... probably ten or fifteen of them... might find one that works. I am assuming that your key is the type that doesn't have a square hole in the end... if it does have the hole, I also have a collection of '84 ->... probably fifteen to twenty of them.

If you want a sure fix, it will take a bit of work to drill out the pins that hold the ignition lock cylinder in place... not a real hard job... but enough of a pain that a thief wouldn't bother with it. New ignition lock cylinders that comes with door locks are available (I have them on ther shelf) and come with two keys !
