Hi guys
I live in Denmark and I drive a Matra Murena, which has a Peugeot 2.2 engine. This is the same engine as in the 505 Turbo but without the turbo.
For some years I have had an engine from a 505 turbo engine in my store, and now I am making preparations to install this turbo engine in my Matra Murena. This engine is a N9TE from a car registered first time April 85.
Checking the turbo engine I realized that the auxiliary air valve is missing, I how that it is a standard Bosch item, but I do not know the correct part number, can you inform me of the Bosch part number?
Further I have a couple of “loose ends” or rather loose hoses:
Just opposite the auxiliary air valve there is connection with a black plastic hose. From a T on the hose there are connection for
· a 100mbar pressure switch “for full load” (#195 on my electrical diagram)
· a pressure switch for “advance timing” (#196 on my electrical diagram)
· The pressure sensor for the turbo pressure gauge (#190 on my electrical diagram)
The hose continues but is not connected to anything the loos end is 55 cm (21½ inches)long has a 6 mm (1/4 inch) inside diameter and has been connected to a black plastic connector (broken of). From pictures in the owner’s manual I can see that the hose passes between the inlet manifold for 1st and 2nd cylinder and passes under the fuel rail, and then…?
In the air pressure system for blow off valve the is some kind of thermal switch/valve at the side thermostat housing (the switch/valve pointing forward) The valve has a green plastic connector with 3 connectors. One marked 2 is connected to the inlet manifold, just under the throttle body. The second is marked “D” and is connected to the blow off valve. The third connector marked “2” is not connected. From photos in the owners manual it seams that the connector marked “2” is not used. Is this correct?
Thanks in advance
