Hi, to the guy who just got himself the 505 diesel, you should change
out the glow plugs for new ones and also see if you can find a new
glowplug box (the blue thing mounted above the rear of the engine) I
did this on my car and it went from taking 2 - 3 long cranking
attempts at starting and only then very reluctantly starting as soon
as I turned the key, well worth the effort and smallish expense!
