Thanks to those of you who have answered my questions about my new
505...I have a couple more right now.
Where is the hose from the oil filler cap supposed to go? This was
just dangling down by the side of the engine pumping all kinds of
smoke out. I stuck it in the bottom of the air cleaner so now it sucks
all the smoke into the motor, but I'm pretty sure this is not right.
I also have a dangling vacuum hose. There is a hose that goes from the
intake to some kind of pump, then there is a hose that comes out of
the pump. This tees off to a large plastic bottle, then it continues
to the brake booster. It has another tee that goes to......Nothing!
It's a small hose that just sits on top of the motor and sucks air. I
have a feeling it's supposed to go to the climate controls, but I
can't really see where.
