Hi, will the alternator from an XN6 fit the diesel?? I have a spare
XN6 unit, it looks like it would fit physically but I would need to
change how the wires are connected as the diesel has a plastic
connector that snaps into the alternator whereas the XN6 has two red
wires that fit over a bolt and are secured by a nut.
Another subject..... how do I get the pulley for the radiator fan off
the diesel engine?? it has the magnetic free floating hub and inside
that there is a nut that locks down onto a bolt. It seems like I need
a deep 22mm ring spanner to fit the nut and a 10mm socket to fit the
bolt at the same time. Is this correct??
