It's your car so you can do what ever you want but 18" wheel is simply
too large and will be totally out of place in a car designed more than
25 years old!!! It will just ruin the rare classic look of 505 and
turn it into a very ackward looking part rice burner, part low rider
and part classic european sedan. And you own one of very rare 505
model remaining worldwide so you owe to your self to keep the car as
original as possible.
But, if you must do and lower, here is a option. You can have coil
springs custom made to your spec. You can send your original springs
to the company and they will make new springs based on original spring
rate and ride height and your desired spec. There are several
companies out there when I searched online. I can't remember the name
but one of them could do a set for about $300.
