Hi group-
As I've been working on my new 505 SD, I've noticed a few things here
and there that are in need of repair, and I have a few electronic
questions this time.
- Does anyone have a factory 1980 505 radio and it's facia? I currently
have nothing, and I only listen to AM anyway. All the original wiring is
intact, so it would be a really easy install.
- What's that weird relay behind the right rear truck panel near the
power antenna? It's got about 10 wires connected to it, all hooked to
nothing. I don't think it's for the power antenna, because that's hooked
to the back of the taillight!?!
- Speaking of taillights, my turn signals are pretty sketchy. Sometimes
they work, sometimes they work but don't indicate inside the car, and
both indicators always come on regardless if I'm signaling a left or a
right. I took one apart and noticed that the circuit board is a pretty
crappy design. I fixed my 405 by soldering some wires directly to the
board...is there a similar fix for my 505?
