I agree. I find that 16" wheels give a nice comprimise between sport
and ride. Of course, I'm lucky that Volvo put out a whole bunch of
different sixteen inch wheels. I've got a set of swept five spoke
wheels (Hydras) on my wagon. Very clean, but a big step up from the
stock alloys.
Of course, I also agree completely that 18" wheels just look stupid on
most (all?) cars. Especially given the rarity of the Peugeot bolt
pattern, I can't imagine why anyone would go to the expense of
slapping on gigantic penis wheels which would probably require a few
hundred dollars of spacers to fit right. Of course you could go with
cheap spacers, depends on how dangerously you want to live I suppose.

Depends on which body style. The latest Supra to make it to the US
was well known for its horrible ride. Low profile tires sure won't
help.

Try the San Francisco area. I was shocked that San Jose ranked as
either the city with the first or second worst roads in the US (esp.
given how, IMO, bad San Francisco is in comparison).
