They are TERRIBLE in the rain...you'll slip and slide all over.
They aren't too bad in a straight line (on the highway) but the real test of a tire is how it
handles rain and curves. In curves they squeal like crazy.
I had them on my BMW 540i when I bought it. They were promptly removed and replaced with
Bridgestone RE750s. The difference is night and day.
Then again, I'm not a fan of general-purpose all-season tires. I'd rather get 25k miles out of a
set that are good rain tires, entertaining in the dry and give the car great road feel than skimp a
bit and get a set for 40k.
40k is a long time to have tires....imagine living with mediocrity for 2-3 years? Might as well
spend the extra couple hundred and get something worthwhile.
That's my philosophy anyway. Tires are cheaper than fenders.
