Tony:
Before you change the radiator or anything else for that matter, change the
radiator cap! It is the cheapest fix (if that's the problem) you can have.
I have seen it over and over again, rad caps 15 years old cannot be expected
to perform. Some last only a few years before they fail.
Leaks around the radiator are usually revealed by a buildup of dried
antifreeze. Much bigger leaks occur around the waterpump shaft. Be sure
you know where the problem is before you spend the big bucks.
