Special to Bob B. and others with nipple problems:
My radiator specialist actually reattached a nipple with some kind of
space-age wonder-goo. The tanks went south due to the previously mentioned
flange rot with the nipple still intact! Of course, "smithereens" could be
terminal -- finding all the pieces and getting them all clean enough to goo
up could be more work than it ever could be worth!!!
