86 - 88' interior? what's wrong with 89? There is no difference between 88 and 89 interior. Airbag was never offered on any of 505 ever made and automatic seatbelt was only offered on 90 or 91 to 92 here in North America. Why not get a 89 turbo wagon and retrofit the 5 speed transmission. Sounds far easier.

About 5 speed and turbo in the wagon. It was discussed well here in the forum long time ago. It was concluded that the reason Peugeot didn't offer 5 speed Turbo wagon is that wagon only rear end is not strong enough to handle the power of turbo through 5 speed unit but instead, on automatic transmission the power is buffered through torque converter. And this is why the horsepower on N9TEA wagon (88- 89) is limited to N9TE level while N9TEA sedan had a nice boost. So without any need to fit BA/10 into the wagon, they only offered manual option with ZDJL and BA/7. I bet BA7 is not strong enough to handle the turbo power so you would need to retrofit BA10 into the wagon but this could be tricky as it was never intended to be. But again, I am not an expert on 505 so others can advise on that.

oh by the way, wagons can't have ABS brake because of the rear drum brake set up. it has nothing to do with engine or transmission so don't worry about it.
