I'll chime in with some more unrelated experience. I put Taiwanese e-codes in my Volvo (89 760). The big difference is that the aftermarket ones use thermoplastic reflectors, and thus can't handle the heat that overwattage bulbs put out. Supposedly the OE ones aren't so great with overwattage bulbs either. Also, the fit and Onfinish is a bit sketchy (especially with the corner lamps)... but it was the difference between spending $400 and spending nearly $1000 for Euro lamps. They are ECE certified. The Volvo/Bosch lamps in Germany, and the ScanTech ones in the Netherlands.

They look great, and the beam pattern is nothing short of amazing.

DOT lamps are that bad. However if you've got a Peugeot that takes sealed beams, the better (IMO) option is to go to danielsternlighting.com and order up a set of the appropriate ECE certified replacement lamps. Daniel Stern is fantatic about his lighting, and has some high quality stuff for sale. I've been eyeing the complex reflector lamps he has, but I don't have a car that takes round sealed beam lamps.
