Yup. And that's what's nifty about cars that take standard sealed DOT
beams. You can pretty much just drop in ECE approved lamps that take
H1 or H4 bulbs... and get an incredible improvement in lighting. If
the later 505s take standard sealed beams, you can go this route as
well... but you're still stuck with the fugly cloudy plastic
surrounds.
OTOH, the Argentinian 505 lights are quite a bit cheaper (and in all
likelyhood still far better than the DOT garbage).
