I've got the leak fixed for good I think. Road tested it (15 miles of
hwy driving) and she ain't leaking no more. Time will tell if it'll
holdup. The thinking part took a couple of hours but the doing part
took less than 45 minutes. This is all done without using sealant or
adhesive, using the same injector without taking it apart. I took the
injector off the head just so I can examine it closely but now that I
know what to do, it can be done without removing the injector. In
fact, it is easier to do without removing the injector. If anyone here
is interested in what I did, I can write up the procedure and post
some pics.
