Re: [Peugeot-L] Forum vs Mailing List - II

I do completely and totally understand that there are people who really do like mailing lists, and that's great. It boils down to sharing information and knowledge.

If people want to start using the forum, great. And if not, that's fine too. Mailing lists aren't complicated if you have a email client you understand (IMO). Google offers webmail which has roughly 2 GIGABYTES of storage. Its still in beta, but anyone who has an account should be able to invite others. I know I've seen people on this list with gmail accounts so if anyone would like one, ask (them only, not the list ;))!

As for the forum idea and anyone who's interested, email me off list if you'd be interested in becoming a moderator, or have ideas or input on how you'd like to see a forum setup.

Lastly, if people still like the mailing list idea, but are just sick of dealing with yahoo, maybe I could setup an open source (banner free) mailing list via 505turbo.com, or another domain which I would purchase. hmmm, I'll have to ponder this.

I'm ok with them, but would prefer something a little more "with it"
