And knocking all the way without you hearing it. It does matter where the
knock sensor is and as bad as it looks, is not hard to replace properly. It
will pick up some of the knock where it is, but not soon enough and will
cause damage over time, sooner if you use regular gas instead of high
test/super/gold or whatever they call the 90+ octane in your area. Your
problem may just be caused by a poor connection on the old one.
