Hi,
I am trying to wire up the blue box glow plug controller on an
install of an XD3T into a Land Rover Series IIa. The 86 505 sedan had
had its day and is now rusting away, but the engine will get a great
Ondeal further use in its new home...
Some of the connections are obvious, like the big red wire: battery
power in, the big brown wire: power out to glow plugs, the small
green/yellow: ground, and the small red: ignition power.
The two wires I need identified are the tan wire and the turquoise
wire. I believe one of these should go to the glow plug light and the
other to a temperature sensor on the engine.
Can anyone confirm a) which of these is which, and b) which
temperature sensor on the engine the wire goes to?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
