[Peugeot-L] 1984 main fuel pump relay

Hello Peugeoters;

1984 STI 505 XN-6 main pump will not run unless wired separately - I assume a relay problem - which one is it and would it be interchangeable with the same part from a 1983? OnCould there be another problem? - wires all look good and terminals perfectly clean....

Anybody got a new one you'd like to sell? Thanks, Tom Woods

Just returned from West Africa (Senegal) which as some of you probably know is Peugeot land - most intercity transport done by 505 diesel wagons outfitted with extra seat in rear to accomodate total of 7 people. Average condition of cars makes my beat-up '84 look pristine but they keep going (often in less than safe condition).

Also spent some time in Mozambique where there are still quite a few as well - even 504's - rode in one 1976 taxi which, based on the sounds coming from below, appeared to have a broken engine mount - nothing seems to stop these guys. Obviously, there is quite a market in both countries for used parts. Anybody on the list located in aforementioned locales? Tom
