Jim,
What are the gear ratios and the tire size you have?
With that information, you should be able to do the
calculations and determine for sure. Then, you can
calibrate your speedo based on how many seconds it
takes to get from one mile marker to the next.
If the torque converter is in lock-up mode, then you
can mathematically predict the rpm fairly closely.
I don't know what the ratios are and what size tires
you have. If you supply that info, I'll be happy to
do the math for you.
