Same as my 2005 smart cdi, which says "this vehicle is not intended
for sale in the U.S" on the emission cmpliance label.

Agreed, which is why I hate my 45 headlights, and love my smart
fortwo's headlights.

EU-4 and EU-5 allow far too many particulates and too much NOx to
meet US emission standards.

Eduardo, the "side marker light" is not the turn signal repeater o
the front fender; they are reflective and illuminated orange (front)
and red (rear) lights that are always on when the headlights are
on. They are illegal on EU cars.

I am not sure what the differences are in the standard, but I know
the grey market converted smart cars in the USA have different belt
buckles attached to the seats than the CDN version.
