[Peugeot-L] 86 505TD Starting Problem - help please

Wow you have a 1985 Turbo Diesel wagon that has been sitting? What is wrong with it? I'd die for a diesel wagon. I am in the process of converting my computer business to a mobile service business. We have been making biodiesel since Winter. I want to use our homemade fuel to power our service vehicle. Right now my wife and I are sharing the 1981 505s turbo diesel, which I might add is such a sweet car that I can barely get it away from her lately. We need another diesel. A wagon! I was thinking a 4X4 for service calls because this is mountains here in New Mexico, but a wagon may be perfect. Anyone else have Peugeots needing resurrection? I am glad you got my idea to work. Don't sweat this little stuff. to test the battery connections simply bypass them with jumper cables. I know there are a lot of people here that are currently mechanics and they know more than I, but electricity especially low voltage electricity is where I shine. Twenty years of computers and electronics after I left the auto mechanics field. I was a factory trained VW mechanic, always loved foreign cars.
