[Peugeot-L] Lurching 405 diesel

Hi!,
I posted the same problem a few days ago, but no one replied and so, I am asking advice again.

My car lurches in 4th and 5th gear, usually when I am coming down a slope or have just left the accelerator pedal and am coasting. This is tending to happen more since my last post to the group, so, obviously there is a problem. I am sure it will lurch in second and third gears as well, but since you don't drive in these gears much often for long enough time, it has not been positively observed. Please help... I don't want it to become a serious problem. Also, if I ask a mechanic, he will most probably tell me that there is a major problem and that it will cost a lot of money. So, I want your opinion before I go to a mechanic..

Thanks in advance,
