Move off the fundamentally unsafe and spam-friendly Outlook/Outlook Express to
Thunderbird ( http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/ ) which features some
level of built-in spam filtering. See
http://www.nidelven-it.no/articles/introduction_to_thunderbird_5 for more on
that.
Thunderbird is free, and should help keep the spam down a level.
