My best ride was in my 79 504 diesel. I remember one time when I was a teen, and I had 4 friends in the car. We were driving though 1 foot of snow in a mall parking lot and I ran over a curb stone doing 50. We didn't feel a thing, but we sure heard it! I jumped out of the car fearing bashed rims or torn exuast....but nothing! No damage what so ever! I didn't even have to balance the tires! Iv'e driven nothing but Peugeot ever since. If you can't find a 504, then a 505 non gas turbo wagon or 505 non- gas turbo sedan will suit your needs.
