[Peugeot-L] Re: sealing a leaky #2 XD3T injecttor

After 600 miles, the once leaky #2 injector on my 85 505td XD3T is BONE DRY. So, I'm going to declare my fix a success. I just posted a word file to the "Files" section named "XD3T inj leak fix.doc". It has photos with captions. Some lessons learned as the procedure evolved are:

Gut out the sensor completely.
Remove the 2 roll pins
Cut the gasket for a tight fit and make it wider Use a good quality, wide hose clamp
Do not use the hose clamp on sharp edges.

If you try my procedure, let me know how you make out.
