My suggestion would be to use the heads and injection system from a 604
TI if they are available. Fewer ways to go wrong, better power and
mileage.

I have access to 604 K-jet engines as well as carbed engines if you need
photos or other info. From memory, the injectors for the 604 are mounted
so that the injected heads are different from the carbed heads.
We did have one 604 that was set up by a carb specialist once, went like
the clappers after it was done ( but I believe that there was much
blocking of ears and greasing of palms to get it to that stage).
If going for the Volvo injection, there are apparently two different
inlet manifolds, I think that the more desirable one has been described
as an octopus...
How about converting it to efi using 505 injectors with a megasquirt
controller?
