About 2 or 3 years back I posted a query about super-noisy wipers in my
405. I didn't get any satisfactory explanations back then.
Here's the story: they were as quiet as normal wipers until one day,
all of a sudden they were noisy as hell. Nothing happened in between
(no snow on windshield with wipers on in the morning start etc), just
quiet one day and noisy the next and thereafter.
It is the mechanism or motor itself, not the blades or arms (they still
makes incredibly loud noise when the wipers are lifted off screen).
So now that some time has passed, I wonder if any others have
experienced this and if so, did you find a simple solution?
