RE: [Peugeot-L] 505 N9TE rad mounting

Donut on top and bottom with big fender-like washers.

Idiot square head bolt. Have a fun time securing it while you tighten down the nut. I jam a screwdriver in there to stop the turning movement of the head.

All works well enough.

Subject: [Peugeot-L] 505 N9TE rad mounting

When mounting a radiator in a 505, (or any car I guess), does the rad

stand on a rubber donut,

or

does the rad stand directly on the metal mounting surface?
