I just put the radiator back in my TD. You should have 4 rubber donuts, two each for directly under the rad and then two to go on the ends of the bolts where they stick through the crossmember. If you clean all the rust and gunk off the bolts/threads and put a bit of lube on them when you tighten the nuts underneath the crossmember you should run out of thread when tightening them, which means you can't overtighten and they should be tight before you need to jam a screwdriver or 22mm crescent over the square end of the bolt.
