On days when I need to use the air conditioning, my 405 wagon stalls a lot. That's because the idle is too low. So I adjust the idle screw and things are fine for a day or so, then it stalls at every light, slowing for a turn, etc. So I adjust the idle again.
What's happening is the idle adjuster screw keeps turning by itself! When the stalling happens, the idle screw is all the way down. I back it off 3-4 turns and the engine idles just fine. Before I put in a drop of two of threadlock, is there any reason why threadlock wouldn't be a good idea?
