[Peugeot-L] Re: [Opel] EFI

Just wondering, it seems you and your friend are more
than enough proficient with the electronics to create
this system; but as I understand it, the major makers
such as Bosch do tons of research to get the mapping   correct. Is your system for racing or off road use   only; so that it doesn't need to be concerned as much
with all the variables of a road car, such as cold   start, warm-up, idle control for
accesories(a/c,alt),
progression or fuel enrichment on acceleration, and   emissions? I know that even on older mechanical pumps
they had built in the proper fuel ratio for evey con-
ceivable combination of load and engine speed. It's   a very interesting project and I wish you well, I   was just interested in if and how you were able to   accomplish the complex mapping of a road car. I was   involved once with a Lamborghini that someone had   taken the Webers off of and fitted with an aftermarket    fuel inj. unit (don't remember the name)that   had to be programmed on the car with a laptop, and   they never got it quite right. Again, just wondering.
