Fine to drive it, but just drive it like you have a thousand loose eggs sitting on the back seat :)

Install the new valve and bleed the system, you should then have some brakes. With the valve set incorrectly you may have poor or no rear brakes (so you will not be able to stop as fast) or the rear brakes may be working too well, which means that they are likely to lock up, and if you are going around a corner at the time, you will spin (speaking from experience after trusting a specialist brake mechanic near the car :|

It is important to have the car sitting at the normal ride height on a level surface when you adjust the valve, otherwise it will not be set correctly.
