I would go for the Racor first-even if they show
fuel
in them, if they get any water at all in them, they
block up. If your not in super cold temps, even w/o
glow plugs, it will eventually start w/ alot of
cranking as that will warm up the engine. To check
them properly, you take off the connectors which are
held on by small nuts(8mm heads if I remember); and
then you check them w/ an ohm meter. I don't
remember
the exact specs, but one will either be alot higher
than the others ; or one will be shorted, Sometimes,
one is open. But, one won't affect it that much; and
it's unlikely that they all went out. I would check
to see if they're getting current to them as the
timer box used to go out alot. We found out that the
heavy wire tends to distort the circuit board
inside,
so we mounted it differently. It's located pretty
much in the center back of the engine compartment,
kind of upside down under the lip of the cowl right
above the insulation on the firewall. Try the Racor
first.
