I just got a phone call from my school friend --stuck next to a gas
station pump in Tacoma: Her newly purchased 404 can't be driven home
to Seattle. The wheels won't roll. Three people tried to push it while
in neutral. It is immobile. Her father says he thinks the back brakes
are stuck.
She has elected to have the car towed on a flatbed back to Seattle. As
her only Peugeot contact here, It will soon be my problem. I'm a
little nervous. What I know about 404's you could put into a thimble.
Any and all advice as to how to proceed would be very helpful.
Just in case you or someone you know in Seattle takes side jobs: If
someone wants to help, I'm sure we can work out an equitable payment
for labor. The car will be close to I-5, near 130th Ave.
Thanks,
mikey
