I was going to say that you could use 604 suspension arms on your 504 if
you wanted about 19mm of negative camber, but I thought I would take a few
measurements before shooting off my mouth, and to my extreme perplexity I
found that 604 and 504 have the same spring spacing at the top! 42"
compared to 43 3/8" on 505. That threw me because I would have sworn that
604 used 505 control arms and engine crossmember, which would give the 604
wider spacing at the bottom than the 504. How that works with the same
spacing at the top is beyond me. But then I didn't think 505 front
anti-roll bars would fit a 504 either. I don't have time to look up the
part numbers right now to try to figure it out.
On the dif ratios, I think you can use wagon guts in a sedan housing, but I
have never done it or know of it being done. The lowest sedan gears in US
Models are 8x37 (4.62:1) in zdjl automatics. 4.11s are much more common.
