I only run b100 intermitently as it is too expensive and there is no
place locally to obtain it in small quanities, but YES you can run it
safely in your Peugeot. My only caveat is before you do so pick up
an extra couple of fuel filters because the solvent properites of BioD
will clean out all the algae and gunk that has accumulated in your
fuel tank over the years and deposit them in your filter. In the long
term, b100 can swell your fuel lines and even your seals in your IP,
but it's really not worth worrying about at this time. Just
periodically keep an eye out for leaks of any sort. You shouldn't
have any sort of engine problem though when you change your oil have a
look at it. If your car is experiencing blowby and bioD gets in your
oil, it can - unlike diesel - lead to polymerization or
thickening/degradation of engine oil. If you want to learn more about
both vegoil and bioD and specifically the problem I just mentioned,
check out this thread and forum:

Bob,
Not sure about your veggie experience but it does seem rather strange
that your IP would leak after that. Did you filter the oil down to 5
microns or less? was the oild dewatered? I can't imagine what would
cause such a failure, especially since 40% is not a strong blend and
vegoil is a MUCH better lubricant than diesel or even high sulfur
diesel. I've been expirementing with both blends and SVO for the
better part of two years on these vehicles and though they aren't as
robust as Mercedes or even VW with these fuels, they seem to run just
fine in a proper system.
