You know, I am a regular listener to the radio call-in car guy Jeff Brooks, and he said
the same thing about the ZF tranny. He said something to the effect that it doesn't
completely disengage, and if it's in neutral, and you step on the gas, you can feel the
car want to move. FWIW.

BTW, he added a bit of trivia: the Z stands for Zeppelin- the same folks with the illfated
