I took my first significant drive in my 79 504 gas on Friday. I had to drive
95 miles round trip on early Friday night. The car performed excellent and
the a/c was nice and cool. I was able to keep up with traffic on interstate
driving 60 of the 95 miles. My wheels are now perfectly balanced. I am still
looking for a 2 pc sunroof seal, since the ones I ordered from Australia are
not correct. If anybody has one, I would be willing to pay good money.
Drives like that make me understood why I keep pouring money into a 25+ year
old car. I even hit 153K on the car with the original trans and never did a
head gasket. Long may it run.
