I've been in love with these cars for the last 20 years and I'm finally in a position where I can do the mods I planned to do since I was a kid!
I didn't realise the front spring rate was so low - but because I'm doing the 2.5" springs, getting custom wound springs done to a specified rate and length will still be very cheap all things considered. The custom set up will also allow me to run camber plates up top to really get the front end dialed in.
The rear springs I was hoping to change as well - but if other springs will fit and give me the spring rate increase I want, then I'll be quite happy to use those. What did your friend use on his STI for the rear dampers? Stock or did he use some other set up? Does his car sit OK with the MB 115 springs in and with one coil cut?
