I have a family member who is ready to part with his 1985 505 diesel
that he purchased new. I would love to add the car to my garage. He
lives in Connecticut and has a mechanic close who specializes in
Peugeot's and has kept this one in beautiful shape. His point to me
is that you don't want to take this car on if you don't have a
knowledgeble mechanic close, especially one that has access to parts.
I have not found anyone in the St. Louis area and am looking to this
group for thoughts. I have always loved this car and it is in
unbelievable shape for a car that is 20 years old with over 500,000
miles on it.
What do you think? He will basically give me the car so there is not
a big financial investment. I just wonder if it is worth even
bringing it to the mid-west.
