[Peugeot-L] 88 505 Turbo: squeaky brakes?

It squeaks just going down the road, pretty annoyingly. Quiet if applied, then returns immediately when not braking. I tried to fix this by installing new rear Raybestos calipers with old pads reinstalled as they looked good. (glaze sanded off) Correct rubbery stuff applied to the backs of the pads. The emergency brake works only a very little: the top two notches engage it slightly if I pull the brake handle up to the limit of travel. This is a problem. (The notch in the pistons was properly oriented.) The squeaking may be coming from the front as well.I have little experience with disk brakes. ~mikey
