Thank you Bill. I'm inclined to follow your example.

Subject: [Peugeot-L] Re: 88 505 Turbo: squeaky brakes?

A long, long time ago, even before I was online, I went down to the local import car
parts place for new front brake pads for my turbo. They were like $20, and they didn't
tell me anything about the existence of different grades of pads.

They were junk. I had them off and on, trying all sorts of attempts at fixing the
squeaks with the adhesive and the sticky aluminum pads, all to no avail. Then I
found out that there are better pads that cost like twice as much, but worth every
penny.

So I went back, and asked for Mintex. They said they didn't carry them, but that
they could get Axxis. When he said a lifetime warranty on noise, fade and wearout, I
bit. Haven't had any problems since.
