Hello together,
After about 4 months storage, today I tried to awake my 1980 Peugeot 604
TD.
However the car's electrics are completely dead. I had a second car to
jump-start in case the 604's battery was low, but the 604 remained dead:
Absolutely nothing, including interior lights or instruments, would show
any reaction.
The last time I was in the garage starting the car and driving it for
about 15 minutes, was about 4 months ago. At the time, everything worked
perfectly and even though, at the time, the car already was in storage for
4 months, it would start on the very first try and run perfectly smooth
from the first second - just if I'd parked it there the day before.
But now, another 4 months later, it's completely dead.
I checked the fuses in the box under the dashboard and they all looked
good. Plus the car's garage is absolutely safe and dry.
Surely there must be one single item that broke down, being able to
"switch off" the whole car?
regards,
Thomas
