This is to seek correct information from any 405 owners. My 405 is a GL model with the Diesel engine. The blower fan works at a slow speed for some time after switching it on (A/C on with the switch at 'full') and then increases speed later on. If the car is parked in the sun and it is hot, the blower comes on at full speed in the beginning itself (most of the time). Last night, after being parked for some time, the blower fan worked at a very low speed throughout (oustide temperature was not much, as it was about 10:00 PM).
Does this mean there is climate control in the car? Also, how many speeds does the blower fan have; 3 or 4? Did the 405 GL (which, I suppose is a base model) come with climate control? Also, my car has original black leather seats, but power windows only in the front (I thought that leather seats came only in the GR version onwards and that the GR had power windows all around). The whole things seems confusing. Nothinh wrong with the way it is, but just curious to know... If any one finds the time and thinks it worth replying, I will be grateful..
