My two experiences: PS fluid leak, that quickly becomes copious, observed
coming from the steering rack boot. (Distinguished from a high pressure
hose leak which squirts a jet of PS fluid on the exhaust downpipe.) This of
course relates to seals, not the mechanical parts of the rack.
