Maybe, but Peugeot build quality was nothing to be proud of in the
80s. At least, not as far as the US was concerned. As bad as that
car sounds, it doesn't seem much worse than many contemporary American
branded cars. Altho, having the exhaust fall off is pretty dramatic.
