Hello,
I successfully completed a retrofit of a UK 405 Series 2 ignition and lock set into my '89 Mi16. Unfortunately, the trunk lock was a bit different, and I was unable to swap it, but I'm now left as I was before, with a separate key for the trunk, but now I have an ignition key with built-in plipper.
I know the central locking locks the trunk, but is is supposed to unlock it as well? I tried another lock motor and it operates the same- only locks.
