The 307 is a heap of junk. Peugeot should be ashamed to produce such
a car. It is consistently near bottom in most owner
satisfaction/reliability surveys in the UK. They catch on fire, the
electrics are terrible, the clutches fail at low mileages, the
transmission whine, the rear doors won't open, the carpets fall away
from the footwall, the engine won't start, the trim falls off. From
what I've read, the 206 isn't much better and the 607 is a disaster.
The 406 was okay; too early to tell on the 407.
